Tentative Agreement on Addition to 20/21 Contract
The Brevard Federation of Teachers petitioned the Public Employees Relations Commission to allow for an electronic vote on the agreement by the bargaining unit. Subsequently the petition was granted, and you will have the opportunity to vote electronically.
Every member of the bargaining unit should receive an email at his/her school address from the Brevard Federation of Teachers on Monday, June 14, 2021, that includes the addition to the collective bargaining agreement and a ballot. You will have until 11:45 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021, to cast your ballot. The election will be conducted through a service called “Election Buddy.” The tentative agreement can be viewed in advance at BFTteach.org.
Our BFT Executive Board is recommending a vote of "YES" on the $1,000 bonus.
